Section 8: Relationships: How do they perceive and treat others?

Key questions to ask:
Are you dating anyone? Tell me about him or her. What do you like or dislike?
What do you normally do on a date? (Be prepared to be lied to)
What is the sure thing that’s going to be true about the person you will one day marry?
Around school, what is the biggest pressure when it comes to dating?
Have you ever written down Biblical commands about how you should treat the opposite sex? Can you give me one example?

Key Scriptures to consider:
Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity.

 1 Timothy 5:1-2

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
